Bridges to Success

Project Type: Self-Sufficiency

Project Stage: In Progress

The City of Rochester is partnering with the A Better Community, Catholic Family Center, and Community Place to pilot the new Bridges to Success program in Rochester neighborhoods with high concentrations of poverty. Modeled after Mobility Mentoring, a program developed by EMPath, Bridges to Success is an adult mentoring service that helps clients set goals and navigate the often confusing network of available services. Because there is more need for the program than available openings, participants are selected randomly from the pool of individuals eligible for the program. The evaluation will support partners in better understanding the impact of the Bridges to Success program on outcomes such as employment and earnings.
