“Working at LEO gives me the opportunity to share my analytic skills for the benefit of our provider partners and the individuals and families they serve. Many in this country lack the basic resources or support to live a dignified life, and more needs to be done to better understand how to help them.
My job is great because every program is different and each agency has their own story and “why”. I get to collaborate with provider partners from San Jose to New York City– and many places in between– hopefully in the service of being a force for good in the world.”
As research faculty at LEO, Patrick learns from nonprofit and government agencies about the innovative programs they run to fight poverty. He works with them to design research that lets them put a number on the impact they make in the lives of their students, interns, clients, and program participants. Patrick earned his BS in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and his PhD in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder. He specializes in researching employment and training programs, education, and migration.
