Patrick Turner

Assistant Research Professor of Economics

Area of Specialization

Demography, education, health economics, labor economics

Why LEO?

“Working at LEO gives me the opportunity to share my analytic skills for the benefit of our provider partners and the individuals and families they serve. Many in this country lack the basic resources or support to live a dignified life, and more needs to be done to better understand how to help them.

My job is great because every program is different and each agency has their own story and “why”. I get to collaborate with provider partners from San Jose to New York City– and many places in between– hopefully in the service of being a force for good in the world.”

He specializes in researching employment and training programs, education, and migration.
