Grace Ortuzar

Graduate Assistant

Why LEO?

I joined LEO to answer policy-relevant questions. Our work at LEO informs the decisions of policymakers and providers about changing or expanding social programs. I enjoy learning from our partners at local governments and nonprofits. Their knowledge of the community helps us interpret the information contained in the data. The quantitative analysis is exciting as we combine that knowledge from our partners with advanced econometric methods.
