Brianna Della Valle
Strategic Partnerships Program Director
Why LEO?
"I have always found myself pulled towards the intersection of faith, justice, advocacy, and research. I discovered a profound connection between my sense of personal responsibility and the actionable steps I could take by situating human dignity at the center of all things, with a particular attention towards walking in solidarity with the poor.
LEO builds a dignity-centric bridge between research and the eradication of poverty by practicing subsidiarity, creating evidence, and transforming it into real-world impact. As a Catholic Worker, I dream of creating 'a society in which it is easier for people to be good' (Peter Maurin). For me, LEO does just that by ensuring the outward reality of those on the margins reflects their inherent dignity in a uniquely collaborative way."
