LEO Research Assistant Professor David Phillips presented twice at the 2017 Fall Research Conference hosted by the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) in Chicago. Dr. Phillips presented first at a roundtable session on Advancing Evidence-Based Policy at the State and Local Level. He also presented a panel paper, "Smart Sentencing Guidelines: The Effect of Marginal Policy Changes on Recidivism." The event is a multi-disciplinary annual research conference that attracts high quality research on a wide variety of important current and emerging policy and management issues. LEO also participated in the APPAM Exhibit Hall and provided a table with information about our current projects and focus areas.
