LEO Hosts Conference on Evaluation of Case Management Programs

Author: Brendan Perry

LEO brought together service providers and researchers for a conference entitled, “Evaluating Case Management for Vulnerable Populations.” Conference attendees gathered on the campus of the University of Notre Dame to discuss case management programs for different populations, as well as the importance of evaluation in providing evidence of effective case-management programs. Presentations included programs of wrap-around case management for refugees and veterans populations, and within the context of foster care, government assistance programs, two-generation approaches, employers, and schools. A service-provider attendee provided a key takeaway from the conference: “I’m inspired to get better; I need to consider evaluation if I want to make a difference on poverty.”
