Jenna Trethewey

Administrative Coordinator, Notre Dame Poverty Initiative

Why LEO?

"I am excited to be a part of a team creating change to help bring people out of the darkness of poverty. Bringers of light to dark places hold a special place in my heart. I have always rooted for and tried to protect the underdog. Being surrounded by likeminded individuals encourages my deep-seated desire to help those in need. For me, leaving the world a better place than how I found it is the only way to go and the Poverty Initiative, together with LEO, is doing just that."

Bio

As the Administrative Coordinator for the Poverty Initiative at Notre Dame, I bring over twenty years of administrative experience to the team. I provide behind-the-scenes logistical support to my team by implementing an effective flow of the day-to-day operations; enabling my team to be focused on our goal to end poverty with greater ease and efficiency. Most recently, I was the founder and designer of a successful jewelry business, pioneering a new, innovative way to turn everyday paper items, such as greeting cards and scrapbook paper, into wearable pieces of art.
