Sean Corcoran is Associate Professor of Economics and Education Policy at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He is an affiliated faculty of the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and Senior Technical Advisor for the Research Alliance for New York City Schools. Dr. Corcoran earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2003. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at California State University, Sacramento and a visiting scholar at the Russell Sage Foundation. In 2012-13 he was a visitor at the Center for Education Policy Analysis (CEPA) at Stanford University.
