Marriane Page, Ph.D., focuses her research on intergenerational mobility, poverty and inequality, and the impact of social programs on low income families. Her current projects use a variety of approaches and perspectives to evaluate the short and long term impacts of aggregate economic conditions experienced during childhood. Professor Page's research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, and the National Institutes of Health. In addition to her appointment in the economics department, Professor Page is currently the Deputy Director of the Center for Poverty Research at UC Davis.
