"What motivated me to join LEO is the commitment to pairing evidence-based research with innovative programs to solve the poverty crisis. In the words of Dorothy Day, 'I firmly believe that our salvation depends upon the poor.' God has given us the gifts, talents, and most importantly, love, to end poverty. It is an honor to be part of such a mission."
Katie supports LEO through the implementation, optimization, and integration of systems essential to LEO’s operations. Katie graduated with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Portland and worked in technology for five years before returning to school and receiving a master of divinity from the University of Notre Dame. Since 2014, Katie has worked in administration for Catholic parishes, apostolates, and dioceses.
