Javier Espinosa, Ph.D.,is an Associate Professor of Economics at Rochester Institute of Technology. He started at RIT September, 2006, and like most professors, his work consists of research, teaching, and service. He engages in applied microeconomics, and for the past five years, his projects have been in the field of Health Economics. He teaches four different courses 5 to 6 times per academic year: Microeconomics for Graduate Students, Economics of Health Care; Mathematical Methods: Economics; and Principles of Microeconomics. He has served on various department and college committees. Currently, he is the Chair of the Agenda Committee for the College of Liberal Arts and perform the duty of Faculty Moderator at the college's general faculty meetings.
