Author: Elisabeth Barrett

LEO Associate Director Wendy P. Barreno participated in a FUSE (Frequent Users System Engagement) Networking Session hosted by the Corporation for Supportive Housing on June 5, 2018, during their annual summit in Los Angeles, California. The session brought together practitioners from community based organizations and government agencies across the country who are designing and implementing supportive housing initiatives for frequent utilizers of jails, shelters, hospitals, and other crisis public services to improve lives and reduce expenditures. LEO facilitated the “Evaluation Station” in the session, where participants discussed setting common and measurable outcome goals, setting up FUSE programs for rigorous evaluation, data sharing, the benefits of administrative data, scientifically valid measuring tools, and how to identify evaluation partners.
