LEO Founders Deliver Keynote at CCUSA Annual Gathering 2014

LEO Co-Founders Professor Bill Evans and Professor Jim Sullivan were invited to be the keynote speakers at the 2014 Catholic Charities USA Annual Gathering.  The CCUSA Annual Gathering is a yearly conference that brings together representatives of Catholic Charities member agencies from across the country to share and learn from fellow agencies' successes and ideas.

Professors Evans and Sullivan spoke to the audience on the importance of evaluation in designing results-driven programs. They also invited representatives of two LEO partner agencies, Catholic Charities Chicago and Catholic Charities Fort Worth, to share their experiences with program evaluation.  Amy Willard of Catholic Charities Fort Worth spoke of her work with LEO on the evaluation of college retention and intensive case management programs in Forth Worth, Texas, and Kathy Donahue of Catholic Charities Chicago shared the insights her program has gained from the evaluation of their agency's nutrition centers for women and children.  Read more about the keynote here.
