This past February, LEO partnered with the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) to co-host a two day Impact Evaluation Training Workshop in Chicago. J-PAL and LEO researchers led interactive sessions and small group discussions in an effort to provide attendees with a hands-on understanding of what it takes to conduct an impact evaluation in their organization.
On October 10th, LEO and J-PAL will join forces once again in Boston for a full day learning institute on Implementing Impact Evaluations at Catholic Charities USA’s 2016 Annual Gathering. While the institute curriculum is designed for people from a variety of backgrounds, the training will be especially beneficial to agency leaders, case managers, and other social work professionals. Through a combination of lectures, group work, and case studies, the institute will give these vital individuals a better idea of what truly works in terms of creating impact and fostering positive change.
